You are an electromagnetic being
Why do people with complex chronic conditions seem also susceptible to EMF sensitivity?
- The immune system is already inflamed, so there are already issues with free radicals and electron instability.
- The nervous system is not not smooth and distributed, with poor vagal tone, so certain body areas are more prone to symptoms.
- VGCC triggering massive release of interleukins and NO in local sites of body, and when you're already inflamed this doesn't help things at all.
In Eastern medicine we would consider this a weakening of the Wei Qi. There's not enough internal power and vitality to generate a strong forcefield, so other energies easily penetrate and cause heat/inflammation.
Possible Mitigation Strategies
In general, healthy bodies are more conductive, which we can see through nerve conduction tests. Also, the use of foot soaks over time will start to help you feel more heat transfer, form the feet up to the kidneys, the head etc. In the beginning people usually can't conduct that well.
We want to be able to have energy move through us easily without getting stuck. Likewise for emotions, physical injuries like whiplash etc. This is a sign of resilience.
Obviously, using the scale of permanence, avoidance and attenuation is best.
Mitigation is to deal with whatever comes through those proactive preventative measures.
Balances out and distributes gasotransmitters like nitric oxide, CO2, etc.
This is very important for inflammatory processes and immune function. As well as nervous system health.
Huff and puff decreases CO2 (hyperventilation) and distributes NO. Buteyko style breathing, and Immunity breathing both build up CO2 and NO.
Gasotransmitters have a sweet spot. Too much and you have problems. Not enough and you have problems. You can use these types of breathing to self diagnose based on your response to either one.
Nasal humming added into your practices will help to release 3x the normal amount of NO to the nasal passage ways, which is fantastic for keeping the immune system charged up in this vulnerable exterior area.
Scooping the Moon
The natural toroid shape of earth's electromagnetic force field is replicated in the human dipole body.
The three Dantians (Brain, Heart, Gut) may act as dynamos to generate our protective field.
Beneficial frequencies will come from energy centers in the body, including the centers of the palms. Moving the charged hands through the charged field of the Earth can increase our protective field.
Hand Wrapping and Bubble Layering practices can be very beneficial here.
Shaking
Stage 3 Practice which relaxes and releases connective tissue. This can free up and distribute gasotransmitters like nitric oxide, as well as help to process along stress biproducts.
Nervous system and blood circulation are gently soothed.
Not just the musculoskeletal system gets shaken up. The internal organs (liver, spleen etc) all benefit from the vibrations, helping to move more blood through them.
Vibrating plates can be used to augment this practice, but even just doing it manually has quite an effect.
Best when combined with intentional sighing.
Additionally the piezo effect of compressed bone generating electrical charges creates stronger bones via Wolff's Law.
Percussion
This Stage 1 Practice brings your body's awareness to the surface of the skin.
Nitric oxide can be activated there, which helps to create a healthier immune response.
Light percussion doesn't traumatize the body, but mildly simulates trauma which keeps your immune system well trained.
Tissue tends to get stronger from percussion.

Relevant herbal formulas from the MVSP depending on what Stages/Systems are being affected.
Custom granules can also be helpful in certain cases.
For some reason people tend to underestimate this Stage 2 practice as being "too simple." However, the mechanical tugging of the fascia, even gently will promote peristalsis (intestinal movements) which in turn helps the gut bacteria keep a relatively fresh environment.
Likewise for belly breathing. "Too simple." "I already knew about that." These are excuses. Don't let them get in your way of actually DOING what you know, putting it into specific action for a purpose.
Since so much inflammatory and immune processes in our body can be influenced by our gut health, this should be a no brainer.
Heat on the abdomen is also helpful. You can use a hot water bottle, infrared (shielded!) lights, or simply the warmth from your hands.
The build up of surface electrons may explain why chronically ill people can short out electrical systems. Grounding/Earthing can help us to use the earth as a giant buffer. This is also actively encouraged within Qi Gong practice under the term "Rooting."
It's vitally important to not be wearing insulating (rubber etc) shoes as they break the connection to the ground.
Some companies make grounding mats that plug into your home's wiring, or stakes that go into the earth you can connect to with a wire.
Excellent for regulating nervous system and immune system.
Especially if you're experiencing any localized inflammation due to EMF exposure, such as sore jaw, runny nose etc.
Local points on the affected area (points for sinuses for example) help to rebalance the charge in that area.
Points and stimulationon the head and face tend to help vagal tone by creating parasympathetic stimulation.
Cold water on the face can also help with parasympathetic tone.
Hair tugging (dojo medicine nose bleed remedy) works similarly.
Ion pumping cords are a special type of wire that allows electrons to only flow one way. Typically used by specialized acupuncturists, these wires would be attached to two needles, creating an extra-body circuit and moving extra electrons from stagnant areas or points to those which are deficient.
This is very specialized but I include it as it's part of my research on this topic.
Additionally E-Stim (electrostim) can be used to affect all manner of bodily functions, not just muscle contraction, but also neurotransmitter release including dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, substance P, etc. This again is a specialized skill, and frequency dependent.
Adds energy to the body in the form of Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields (PEMF).
We use this in brain training to get the brain warmed up before neurofeedback sessions.
It's incredibly frequency dependent, and has many uses.
Many companies make mats, chargers, devices etc for sale that use PEMF. The ability to control the frequencies is the difference between something worth looking into and something to pass on.
PEMF does open the VGCCs and create inflammatory chains, however the fact that it is frequency controlled, pulsed, and of short duration (not 24/7/365 like the cell tower down the street) means that it's not blowing your system apart.
In fact there are many studies on the effects of PEMF speeding up healing from injuries, fracture healing, etc and the resulting lower levels of inflammation once the job is done.
This is very much like our Stage 1 immunospecificity approach where we actually want to increase inflammation (paradoxical, I know) while simultaneously directing it at the real job to be done (pathogens) so we can move on form the smolder cycle and get going with normal life again.
Antioxidants
Unique in that they can donate or accept electrons without destabilizing.
However more isn't always better, 5-8 servings of fruit and veg should do it.
There's much more to it than antioxidants.
Free radicals are good to fight pathogens. They steal electrons off of them which kills them. However, in the absence of pathogens (or if they're hiding) the free radicals damage body tissue instead which triggers inflammatory loops.
Pathogens tend to lurk in "divergent channels" and deep areas.
Pathogens hide, so neutralizing the free radicals can quiet down the inflammatory process but not necessarily take out the pathogen.
Magnesium
May help interrupt some of the excessive VGCC activity.
EMF exposure may be one of the likely the reasons why so many people are "magnesium deficient"
